The Inn at Deep Creek is conveniently located among the mountains in western Maryland. We are only about three hours from the D.C. area, or roughly two hours from Pittsburgh and other points in Virginia and Maryland. We are a newly-renovated hotel featuring amenities perfect for enjoying the any season such as an inviting lobby area featuring complimentary coffee, continental breakfast (served every weekend), a gorgeous stone fireplace with cozy couches and warm décor. Enjoy new beds and bedding, flat-screen televisions, complimentary WiFi – some rooms even have fireplaces.
Deep Creek Lake in Garrett County is Maryland’s largest freshwater lake with 65 miles of shoreline. You’ll have plenty of choices at this four-season resort area: fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, biking and golf, among them. Once temperatures drop (usually in mid to late November), there’s ice fishing at the lake. That’s also when skiers and snowboarders arrive at the Wisp at Deep Creek Mountain Resort, housing 132 acres of ski terrain that receive over 100 inches of annual snowfall.
