How old is the Inn at Deep Creek? What’s the story behind it?
The Inn at Deep Creek (formerly known as the “Alpine Village Inn”) opened in 1961 and was one of the first hotels in the Deep Creek Lake area. In recent years, the Alpine Village fell into disrepair and was sold in 2010 to Beachtree Properties, a boutique hotel development and management company. The hotel was completely renovated while maintaining the heritage of the property, and it was renamed “Inn at Deep Creek." The renovation has received accolades from local residents and long-time visitors. If you stayed at the Alpine Village Inn in the past, you’ll love what we’ve done with it! You can learn about the history of the property here.
